IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF GUSSIE GOLDMAN WOODS, ALIAS GUSSIE GOLDMAN, for a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, to Henry M. White, Commissioner of Immigration:

WHEREAS, it has been made to appear to our District Court that you are unlawfully detaining and unlawfully depriving of her liberty one Gussie Goldman Woods, alias Gussie Goldman, and we being willing that the cause of her detention should be inquired into to the end that justice may be afforded her, -

NOW, THEREFORE, you are COMMANDED and SOLEMNLY ENJOINED to produce before this court at a regular session thereof appointed to be holden at the Federal Building in the City of Seattle, in said district, on the 24th day of February, 1915, the body of the said Gussie Goldman Woods, alias Gussie Goldman, together with the cause of her detention fully and at large set forth, and that you then and there this Writ have.

You are further Commanded that you do forthwith certify unto this court all of the records, documents and proceedings had before you, or before any officer of the Immigration Service in this district, or in your office, relating to the deportation of the said Gussie Goldman Woods, alias Gussie Goldman, to the end that such things having been examined such order may be made therein as of right and justice   ought to be made.

WITNESS The Honorable Edward E. Cushman, Judge of said court, and the seal thereof, at Seattle, in said district, on the 17th day of February, 1915.
