The above entitled matter came regularly on for hearing on the 3rd day of February, A.D. 1919, upon the return of the respondent, Henry M. White, United States Commissioner of Immigration at Seattle, to the order to show cause entered herein, and the petition of the above applicant, the applicant appearing by her counsel, Ralph S. Pierce, Esq., and the respondent appearing by United States Attorney, Robt. C. Saunders, Esq., and the court having heard and considered the evidence, the records and files herein, and the argument of counsel, and being fully advised in the premises, and it appearing to the court that the said petitioner, Margaret Roy, had a fair hearing before the officers of the United States Immigration Service of the Department of Labor in proceedings duly and regularly instituted for the deportation of said petitioner as an alien, and that warrant of deportation duly and regularly issued for the deportation of said petitioner to the country from whence she came, and that the respondent, Henry M. White, United States Commissioner of Immigration at Seattle, now and at the time of the service of said show cause order upon said respondent holds and has held the said petitioner in custody under and by virtue of said warrant of deportation.
-1-IT IS, THEREFORE, BY THE COURT HEREBY CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that petitioner's application for a writ of habeas corpus herein be and the same is hereby denied.
