To the Sheriff of Spokane County, Greeting:

In the name of the United States, you are hereby commanded to summon J.J.L. Peel. Dr. Allison E.F. Whittier Wm. McReady, Richland J. Shea to be and appear before the District Court, at the Court House in Spokane Falls, in said County, on the forthwith day of May A.D. 1887, at [] o'clock [] M. to here give evidence in the above entitled cause on part of said Territory there to remain until discharged.
