To the Sheriff of Spokane County, Greeting:
In the name of the United States, you are hereby commanded to summon B C VanHouten and bring with him a check in words following "May 24/86 "N Bennett: Pay J.W. Finch the sum of three dollars & sixty-two cents ($3.62) for work in May, Geo Noble"
to be and appear before the District Court, at the Court House in Spokane Falls, in said County, on the 30th day of May A.D. 1887, at 11 o'clock A.M. to here give evidence in the above entitled cause on part of said Defendant there to remain until discharged.
