Sheriff Cost Bill in the above entitled case.

I hereby certify that by virtue of a committment which is hereto annexed. I received the above named defendant into my custody in the sixth day of January A.D. 1885 and I further certify that on the tenth day of February AD 1885 I received a writ of Habeas Corpus filed out of the Disctrict Court of Fourth Judicial District of Washington Territory, and that I answered said writ according to the commands therein, and the said writ was tried according to the papers filed herewith.

And I further certify that I was ordered by prosecuting atty. S. C. Hyde to [?] without subpoenas all persons knowing anything about the case be in attendance and give evidence in the trial of said writ of Habeas Corpus. The following is a correct account of all papers and processes   Served by me in the above entitled case. First to guarding prisoner 45 day from January 6th to Feb 16th at two dollars per diem $90.00
Boarding and lodging prisoner forty five days at $1.00 $45.00
Notifying the following named. Wtinesses to appear before his honor. Judge Turner at chambers in the city of Spokane Lincoln County W.T. on the 13th day of February A.D. 1885 by order of S.C. Hyde Pros. Atty. at the trial of the writ of habeas corpus in the within entitled case.
