In Justice Court before J.W. Still Justice of the Peace in and for Spokane County Washington Territory

Washington Territory-Plaintiff D. Ainsworth-Defendant Territory of Washington County of Spokane> ss

M.H. Whitney being first duly sworn deposes and say that at Cheney in Spokane County aforesaid one D. Ainsworth did on the 6th day of September A.D. 1884 unlawfully, to do with the intent to defraud steal and comment to his own was the sum of Eight hundred and twenty eight 828 Dollars lawful money of the United States which said money was intended to his care and keeping by one M.H. Whitney of said County and territory that the said D. Ainsworth fraudulently converted the said money to his own use   and has persistently denied and refused to account for the said money to the said person who intrusted it to his care as their agent for the safe keeping of said money That the said D. Ainsworth did on the 6th day of September A.D. 1884. Convert the amount is larceny as appears by the facts therein before stated contrary to statutes in such cases made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the people of the Territory of Washington and affiant prays that defendant be arrested and dealt with according to law
