Daniel Ainsworth v. Territory of Washington. Commitment

 

Territory of Washington County of Spokane} ss

To any constable and the keeper of the jail of said county whereas Daniel Ainsworth of Spokane County W.T. has been brought this day before the undersigned one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County. Charged on the oath of F.V. Hoyt with having on the 12th day of September 1884 in said County commited the offence of grand larceny and in the progress of the trial of said charge it appearing to the said Justice that the said Daniel Ainsworth is guilty of the offence at the time and place aforesaid charged in the complaint and whereas the said Daniel Ainsworth has failed to give bail [?] sum of three hundred dollars for his appearance to answer at the next term of the district court as required by me therefore in the name of the United States you are commanded to receive the said Daniel Ainsworth into your custody in the said jail and him there safely keep until he be discharged by due course of law given under my hand this 17th day of November 1884.
