To the Sheriff of Pierce County Greeting:
In the name of the United States of America you are hereby commanded ("as you have been heretofore commanded), to take the bodies of James Riley and Thomas Horne if to be found in your county, and them safely keep so that you have them before the U.S. District Court for Pierce Co W.T. at a term thereof to be began and holden at Steilacoom in said County on the seventh day of November A.D. 1864, The same being the first Monday of said Month, then and there to answer to an indictment pending against them for "Malicious Mahem,
