Ed Olson, et al. v. John Sheehan. Riot Charge

TERRITORY OF WASHINGTON,

County of Jefferson,}

To the Sheriff or Constable and Keeper of the Jail of said County:

WHEREAS, E. Olson, Frederick Dohn, Frank Keef H Simmons Wm Toterson W Dorfin Thomas Stuart, Wm Fitzgerald of Port Townsend in said County & Port having this day been brought before me, the undersigned, one of the Justices of Peace in and for said county, charged on the oath of Henry Rothchild with having on the 26" day of May, 1888, in said county, committed the offense of Riot and in the progress of the trial of said charge, it appearing to the said Justice that the said E Olson Frederick Dohn Frank Keef H Simmons, Wm Tottermore W Dorfin Thos Stueart and Wm Fitzgerald has been guilty of the offense of Riot committed at the time and place aforesaid, and whereas the said Frederick Dohn Frank Keef H Simmons Wm Totterman W. Dorfin Thos Stewart and William Fitzgerald has failed to give bond in the sum of $300.00 each dollars for his appearance to answer at the next term of the District Court as required by law, Therefore, in the name of the United States you are commanded that with the necessary and proper assistance forthwith to convey and deliver the said E Olson Frederick Dohn Frank Keef H Simmons W Totterman W Dorfin Thos Steward and WIlliam Fitzgerald to the said Keeper; and you the said Keeper are hereby commanded to receive the said E Olson, Frederick Dohn, Frank Keef, H Simmons, Wm Totterman, W. Dorin, Thos Stuart and William Fitzgerald into your custody in said jail, and him there safely keep until he be discharged by due course of law.
