To any constable of said County and to the Keeper of the County Jail of said County Greeting

Whereas at a Justice's Court held this day at the office of the undersigned in the City of Seattle in said county before the undersigned a Justice of the peace of said county for the trial of Catharine Gilbert for the offense hereinafter stated the said Catharine Gilbert was convicted of having on the 28th 1st day of April 1888 in said county committed the crime of disposing of beer to an Indian and upon conviction the said court did adjudge and determine that the said Catharine Gilbert should pay a fine of $100 and $- costs and should be imprisond in   the county Jail of King County W.T. for the period of fifty days or until the said fine and costs be paid and Whereas the said Catharine Gilbert has made default in the payment of said fine and costs. Therefore you the said H.G. Thornton are hereby commanded forthwith to convey and deliver the said Catharine Gilbert to said Keeper and you the said Keeper are hereby commanded to receive the said Catharine Gilbert into your custody in said Jail and him there keep for the space of 50 days unless she shall sooner be thence discharged by due course of law.
