In the Matter of the application for a writ of Habeas Corpus of Wong Sam and others }MO
On reading and filing and filing the petition of Ah Quong on behalf of the plaintiffs therein named duly signed and verified by him whereby it appears that the said plaintiffs therein mentioned to wit: Wong Sam Foke Gee Ah Moke Chin Sam Ah Zee and Wong Hing are each illegally imprisoned and restrained of his liberty by E.V. Rugar in the City of Seattle in said King County this Territory and stating the cause or pretense of said restraint and[?] wherein the illegality thereof consists from which it appears to me that a writ of Habeas Corpus ought to issue
It is therefore ordered that a writ of Habeas Corpus issue out of and under the seal of the District Court of the of the Third Judicial District of this Territory holding terms at Seattle in said District, directed to E.V. Rugar commanding him to have the bodies of each of said plaintiffs to wit: Wong Sam Foke Gee Ah Moke Chin Sam Ah Zee and Wong Hing before me at the court house in chambers in the city of Seattle on the 13h day of April 1888 at the hour of 2 oclock PM of that day to do and receive what shall then and there be considered concerning the said plaintiffs named above respectivelly together with the time and cause of the detention of each of said plaintiffs respectively, and also have then and there all certificates and papers taken from or delievered up by said plaintiffs and have then and there this said writ
