In obedience to the within writ I herewith bring into Court the body of John Black alias Crawley who was committed to my custody on the 30th day of April 1856 by virtue of a warrant of Commitment issued by Justice Black a Justice of the Peace for St Louis County, which is here into appended and made a part of this return
