The State of Missouri. To James A Felps County Jailor of the County of Saint Louis Missouri ~

You are hereby commanded, that you have the Body of William Blackburn, by you imprisoned and detained, as it is said, together with the time and cause of such imprisonment and detention, by whatsoever name the said William Blackburn shall be called and charged, before the Law commissioners Court of Saint Louis County, at his Chambers in the City of Saint Louis this 16th day of April 1855 at 3 PM after the receipt of this writ by you, to do and receive what shall then and there be considered concerning the said William Blackburn - And have you then there this writ -

Witness the Hon John W Colvin Law Commissioner of the County of Saint Louis this 16th day of April one thousand eight hundred fifty five - with the seal of the Law Com Court hereto affixed
