To the sheriff of the County of Saint Louis Greeting

We command you to summon Henry G Mitchell and Henry C Russell that they be and appear before the Judge of our Circuit Court at the next July term thereof to be held at the city of St Louis within and for the county of Saint Louis on the fourth Monday of July next then and there to answer unto Michael a boy of color an infant who sues by permission of the court by his next friend William Clark of a plea of trespass to the damage of the said plaitiff five hundred dollars and have you then there this writ
