I. E. Delany In answer to the writ of Habeas Corpus this day received[?] from[?] and by the Sheriff of said County do return that I hold the body of one Ah Ma King (Chinaman) in my custody by a order of the a[?] marshal of the City of Walla Walla and by the order of the City Recorder of said city [?] Day for the the non payment of a fine imposed before said Ah Ma King now adjudged guilty on the 1st day of April 1869 by said City Recorder
