Case Summary

Nora Gantz petitioned for a writ of habeas corpus to retrieve her son, Lester Teter, from the custody of her ex-husband and his parents which was granted. Willard was about to move to Montana to marry a widow. After hearing the evidence, Nora's writ was allowed and Lester remanded into her custody. The Teters excepted to this, but their motions for a new trial were overruled.
